Antannae: With both strands held together, I finger knitted a inch 'n a half. (Make 2) Weave in ends at top of antannae, 'n leave ends at bottom for sewing into head.

Step 1: Stitch your design on wings if you'd like a design! Make sure your ends on the wrong side of wings! I only stitched the front wings, 'n left the back plain.

Step 2: Inside out, stitch top of head about 1 inch on either side. Flip right side out. Thread ends of antannae 'n figure out where you want them on top of head, flip inside out, sew them on good if it's goin' to a youngin'!! :)

Step 3: Now your going to attach wings to body, doing the front first, making sure all the right sides are facing out, 'n then taking the other piece of body, sewing other two wings on, also making sure right sides are facing outwards. Note: I used scrap strings/smaller pieces, 'n tied a knot at the very top of wing where I wanted it connected to body to make sure it wouldn't move. Sew each wing to the either side of body, front 'n back of toy/pillow.

Step 4: Turn head inside out again, tucking antannae in, careful not to sew antannae, sew down each side of body till you meet up with wing where it's joined to body. Put right side out.

Step 5: Sew inside out: bottom of body till you meet up with the wings. (where they are joined to body)

Step 6: Before I stuffed, I knotted all strings, 'n tucked them inside. I used quilt batting. I cut a few thing pieces 'n tucked in body from top to bottom. Then I cut a four pieces the same general size as each wing. Layered four in each wing. Closed 'em up, 'n sewed each wing together on the outside. Knot, 'n weave in ends!!

Yes, the antannae do flop down! :) This was made for my little niece who turned 1! So I didn't want to put anything in it that could potentially harm her. Poke in the eye? Yeah, no! I made it for her cuz she has trouble sleeping at night, 'n when you make something, you can put a really good energy in it to affect someone in a really good way! Each 'n every single stitch was made with love, 'n there's alot of stitches in there, so that's a whole lotta love!! :D
